I capture what stops me in my tracks. It is not always the subject or the composition that tells me this is it, but rather the feeling, which I am not always able to identify, but I have learned to trust. I find intimacy in most subject matters, and printing small helps me express it..
My prints have been widely exhibited and are in private collections throughout the world. They were juried into New York University’s Small Works Exhibition for nine years, winning a variety of awards. In the mid-1990s my small black-and-white Polaroid transfer prints were purchased by the Polaroid Collection. Now working digitally, I continue to print small, affording the viewer a private look without the distraction of other viewers. I have exhibited at several galleries in New York City, Westchester, Nassau and Suffolk Counties, Connecticut, and Cuzco, Peru.
